Classes

At the Infant site (Mrs Bland's) we have either five or six classes from Reception (known as Foundation Stage 2 - FS2) to Year 2. (Years 1 and 2 are known as Key Stage One - KS1).

There are one or two classes for each year group and each class is named after a type of tree. 

Our Nursery has two classes – Acorns and Little Acorns. (Nursery is also known as Foundation Stage 1 - FS1)

At the Junior site (Garlands) we have eight classes – each named after a significant, famous person. (Years 3 and 4 are known as Lower Key Stage Two - LKS2). Years 5 and 6 are known as Upper Key Stage Two - UKS2)

At the start of each school year we have our 'Meet the Teacher' presentations for each class, where you have the opportunity to find out more about the work your child will be completing and meet the teaching staff . For those unable to attend, we upload our presentations to the ‘Meet the Teacher Presentations’ page.
